India - Bangalore, Lepakshi, Nandi Hills, and Mysore
Had to go to Bangalore for work in late April and early May and took a few days of vacation to play tourist.
Did a few of the major sites in Bangalore. The Nandi Big Bull temple, Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bangalore Palace, Sultan Tipu’s Summer Palace, Kote Sri Prasanna Venkataramana Swamy Temple, Bangalore Fort and Krishna Rajendra Market.
Then headed out to Lepakski and Nandi hills to the northeast of the city. Saw the Veerabhadra Swamy Temple, Ancient Vijayanagara era Lepakshi Nandi in Lepakski and the old fort at Nandi Hills.
Finally, I went southwest to Mysore and saw the Sutan Tipu Summer Palace there, Colonel Bailey's Dungeon, an old Hindu temple (didn’t get the name and the main one on the itinerary was swamped since it was a long weekend), St. Philomena's Church, Devaraja Market, and a few other things.
Most pictures are shot with my Sony RX100vii but there are a few phone shots.
