The Elephant’s Trunk Nebula IC 1396
Shot the Elephant’s Trunk Nebula, IC 1396, two night ago and because of high clouds overnight, I only got about 2 hours of useful data and the image was nothing spectacular. Last night promised to be clear as well and I was able to add over 6 hours more imaging data.
The Elephant’s Trunk Nebula is an emissions nebular about 2400 light years from Earth.
